Weekend randomness

So we have our final four, and I'm screwed. There's no one to cheer for. North carolina? UCon? like cheering for the Yankees...no and no. Villanova? played their first round games on their home floor, so they're out. Michigan State? the most likable of the bunch, but still a Big Ten team that's not Penn State. I've got nothing.

The North Carolina/Oklahoma game was the closest blowout in the history of college basketball. Or at least that's what you thought if you were listening to CBS. I finally had to turn it off, thankfully WGR had the radio call.

Listening to the CP24 breakfast show this morning (which is now also broadcast on 1050CHUM), I'm surprised how well it holds up against CFRB.

Why do I think the fact that I have no idea what Taylor Swift looks like might be sort of a good thing?

7-5? 8-6? If this keeps up, fans might actually expect to see a hockey game when NHL teams skate around in the Air Canada Centre.

Why did the producers of House decide to do a point-of-view episode? There's no way it'll be as good as the Diving Bell and the Butterfly, so why even go there so soon after the movie?
Update: As Ken Levine rightly points out, it's not even a new idea for a medical show.

Rick Wagoner is out at GM, based on the President's say so. I'm not commenting on Wagoner's record one way or the other, but what does anyone working at this White House know about making cars? This is what I'm talking about when I say nationalizing the means of production. The board of directors should be the only people deciding who they want running the company. If the government (as a new shareholder) wants to try to replace that board, that's fine, but the President (or any other government official) has no business deciding who should and shouldn't be running the company.
