Can I ask a question? What the bleep is Perez Hilton doing judging a beauty pageant with women in it? I mean really, why? Now that we've established that this episode is taking place in some kind of bizarre alternate universe, can I ask another question? Has the world lost its freaking mind?! She answered the question! The question was 'what do you think' and she said what she thought. But let's grab the pitchforks, because she said the wrong thing. She said what you're not supposed to say in this stupid politically correct age we've all been carted off to. You know, the age of brainless conformity, in which saying you believe that marriage is what happens when a man and a woman pledge their lives to each other is 'controversial.' The truth, which I know has no place in this discussion, is that most of the people in her state agree with her. Imagine! Miss California saying that she agrees with most of the people in her state about something! Why, the unmitigated nerve!
Seriously though. I don't have a dog in this fight, as it were. Besides being Canadian, I mean it when I call myself a libertarian. I don't think it should be the government's business who decides to be married or not. For me, it's between you, the person you love, your church, and your God. I'll tell you one thing though, if I did have to pick a side here, it wouldn't be the guy calling her filthy and childish names on his blog. Whatever you think of her answer, she didn't deserve that.
